We have seen and heard so much since leaving Dover in March. We’ve passed through ten counties, met wonderful people and stayed in some magical places. We’ve spent a month on the road and walked over 300 miles.
We have been listening and recording and learning all the way, and it’s been hard to keep the blog updated.
After our recent halfway break we got back on the road in the Yorkshire Dales and are now in the backbone of the country on the Pennine Way. The country is getting more mountainous and less populated as we head on towards Hadrian’s Wall and the border with Scotland.
We want to thank all the people who have made our journey possible and made it a delightful experience all the way.
We want to thank the people who have spoken to us about the projects they are engaged in and their own personal stories.
We want to thank those who have taken the time to read our posts and listen to the interviews we have recorded.
We are in the process of uploading a retrospective of the journey so far, complete with photos and audio, to bring our blog up to date.
Many seeds have been planted and we are nurturing ideas for future schemes. With Projects For All we aim to find ways to assist people who have endured displacement and who now face the challenge of building a new life.
